The Las Vegas Friends Worship Group is adamantly opposed to trade wars and tariffs which violate our core beliefs of peace, justice and equality. As Quakers, we advocate for peace, for free and fair trade and a just and equitable world. Tariffs disrupt global trade and create economic instability. Prices rise and workers lose their jobs. Trade wars of the 1930s led to World War II. We are alarmed that global recession and geopolitical tensions will lead to war once again.
