- Resolved to create a fellowship committee
Technology Committee
- Website to be updated.
- Website was donated to us and is hosted in the UK.
- Discord is no longer secure and should not be used to plan actions or reliably share private information.
- The Facebook page is not active.
- Security questions to join do not guarantee absolute security within.
Communication
- Resolved: shift to WhatsApp from Discord and SMS.
- Limit the sharing of sensitive information over text.
- Potential to eventually host our own server (or use Flexer.app or Matrix).
- WordPress could include a communication component.
Ongoing conversations
- Event – Meal in our worship space: loaves and fish?
- Security
- Change locks? Oil them first? New keys if people go out of town? (5 currently in existence, 1 lost).
- Becoming a preparatory meeting
- Need a clerk, treasurer, and meeting minutes—Ministry and Oversight committee is often a feature of preparatory meetings.
- Long-term view: Determine strong passions between the members and our capacity to support different ideas.
- This direction could be expressed on the website and in our literature.
- Potential to support different groups around the city without taking the lead.
